Dr. Shivaprasad utilizes advanced training that she acquired during her fellowship at Georgetown University Hospital.  Dr. Shivaprasad brings cutting-edge GI care previously available to our patients only at tertiary care hospitals. The advanced endoscopic procedures such as ERCP and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) will benefit the local community with early detection of lethal cancers such as pancreatic, bile duct, gastric and esophageal cancers. Early detection improves survival and will help to choose the appropriate treatment for the stage of that individual’s cancer.
